Understanding Android battery health and cycle data
Battery evidence depends on what Android and the phone maker expose. GPUX keeps those limits visible.
Battery information on Android is useful, but it is not identical across manufacturers. GPUX separates current charge from battery condition so the numbers are easier to understand.
What GPUX can show
When the device exposes the values, GPUX can show design capacity, current full-charge capacity, an estimated capacity percentage, charge-cycle count, current charge, and charging status.
Why values may be unavailable
Android does not guarantee that ordinary apps can read every battery field. A missing cycle count is not zero cycles, and a charge counter is not the same as full-charge capacity. GPUX labels unavailable data instead of estimating it from unrelated readings.
Use battery data as evidence
Battery readings are best treated as one part of a larger check. Combine them with charging behavior, physical inspection, seller disclosures, warranty status, and repair history.
